The Thebephatshwa Foundation is a Non-Profit Company that is founded by the descendants of RMLM area in the NWP, each with immense talent, skills & knowledge and experience in their respective fields/industries. The company is founded on the ethos and Setswana idioms "Mabogo dinku a thebana" and "gaabo motho go thebephatshwa".
These idioms vividly describe what we are about; that we have taken the decision to plough our skills in our place of origin, and we intend to work hand in hand with communities, decision makers and all stakeholders to enhance the economic profile of the area, and thus improving the livelihoods of the RMLM population.
Our intention is to provide hope to the beneficiaries of the fund. To reduce the high levels of hopelessness that has resulted in alcohol and pregnancies being the only solution and recreation to the youth in that area. To reduce the heavy burden on state resources viz the grant and pension fund systems. To be "moenyane pele" for the RMLM. beneficiaries are the Historically Disadvantaged Individuals (HDI) of the primarily RMLM and the rest of the NWP.
